For several years, I have considered reading a "Top 100" list of some kind. I have always loved to read, but opportunities for leisure reading are few and far between as a student, and I found myself falling into a rut.
When I did have time to read, I chose books that were on the best sellers list or easy suspense to maintain my interest and distract me from whatever task I was trying to avoid. Thus, I decided to delve into novels of cultural and literary significance.
I began my search for a worthy list where else but, Google.
Many sites were suggested, everything from Oprah to Pulitzer Prize winners. Ultimately, I selected a list discovered on Forbes.com and found here. The composer took a number of lists and identified the 120 books most often included.
So, here I am beginning a turn on the literary circuit. I think I will begin with...
